Thanks very much for that, Steve. I have been going through the tutorials and 
starting to get to grips with the way it works. The object-based bit isn't too 
difficult for me as I use VB, but knowing what the various Swarm libraries are 
is still a bit of a mystery!

However, if you are recommending NetLogo, I will get hold of it and have a go. 
I must say how much I have enjoyed reading your IBM&E book, so I definitely get 
hold of your new book to help me with NetLogo, it looks just the ticket for 
learning how to make working scientifically productive IBMs.
