Hey!
Well, I just spent the last hour puzzling over why changing
the ZoomFactor for my ZoomRaster had no effect. [grin] If
you do save the window positions, you also save the window
size and for raster, that means you save, by default, a zoom factor.
This is probably obvious to everyone out there; but, I wanted to
mention it just in case there's anybody else out there who has
been in the same situation.
A suggestion might be that one could have the option of setting
the window position and size separately. Can we do this already?
I also noticed that the geometry archiver overrides the sizing
of the probe windows, as well, so if you change the probeMap by
adding or subtracting a probe, you're probe widget doesn't change
size.
I now get around this odd linkage between the .swarmArchiver file
and what's compiled into the code by hand-editing the .swarmArchiver
file not to include the window size attribute but leave the position.
