I read that they used their Obj-C to compile the gstep-base libraries 
(ie. the GNUStep base libs). These are a pretty extensive set of libs
and I would think this speaks well of their compiler.

Though I would tend to agree with Ted, MkLinux is the way to go (unless
you really want to stay within the Mac environ).
