Hi Yaron,
sad to see that savannah is still down. Together with Peter, I
prepared a patch for sks to "move" files around in a more FHS compliant
scheme. It should be ok for all the distro but of course we would like to
hear from other guys as well.
The patch is at:

(don't get confused by the name since we use it to distinguish patches
from your cvs and local ones)
If you will apply the patch the option -basedir will become obsolete (note
that the patch does NOT disable it) and you will have the possibility to
hardencode /var/spool/sks for sks_add_mail.
