gnumoney is free software for accounting, finance and inventory management.
it is not just an alternative to proprietory accounting software but takes
advantage of the free as in freedom nature and aims to make a modular and
customisable system where other users can freely add new modules without
learning the entire code right away.
developed in python with postgresql database server for the back-end,
the system will have an open scripting model to create customised reports as
well, which can generate output in pdf or odt formats.
