Follow-up Comment #1:

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

First, note that Savannah supports projects of the Free Software movement,
not projects of the Open Source movement.

We are careful about ethical issues and insist on producing software that is
not dependent on proprietary software.

While Open Source as defined by its founders means something pretty close to
Free Software, it's frequently misunderstood. For more information, please
see http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-software-for-freedom.html.

Second, you have submitted your project under the GFDL (GNU Public Free
Document License), in the description of your project, you talk about the GNU
GPL and finally you talk about GFDL in your source code. You have to clarify
this.

As said in this page, http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html, you can
have your project governed by the GFDL, even rendering scripts and
documentation, OR you can have your documentation governed by the GFDL and
your rendering scripts under the GNU GPL.

When your choice will be done, we could go further in the approval process.

Cheers.
