Many thx Eric. I got pixman but now I need DTC devel package. I installed dtc
but that doesn't help. No package dtc-devel available for centos.

address@hidden:/volume/dcg-sw/nitins/qemu:103#./configure

ERROR: DTC not present. Your options:
         (1) Preferred: Install the DTC devel package
         (2) Fetch the DTC submodule, using:
             git submodule update --init dtc

Cannot use git as it gives error..

address@hidden ~]# git submodule update --init dtc
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

sorry..but I am new to building qemu from source on Centos, so request some
hand holding here.

Regds.

On Debian the following packages are available:

    libpixman-1-0 - pixel-manipulation library for X and cairo
    libpixman-1-0-dbg - pixel-manipulation library for X and cairo (debugging
symbols)
    libpixman-1-dev - pixel-manipulation library for X and cairo (development
files)

I suspect something similar is available on Centos.
