There is only one problem with almost any solution (using hardware or
software to scroll): How do you deal with the picture? IIRC some
GNU/Linux distributions have support for such stuff in the modified
GRUB they distribute, is this also used on the command prompt?
Please let me know, I don't want to use work that is useless
afterwards.
I had a quick look at hardware scrolling. I wrote some code and it
seems possible and very fast. Well, I still have some problems with
it so it is not done yet. :)
