I'm using PSPP 0.6.2-0ubuntu1 in a german Ubuntu (9.10) and I
wondered why there is no german translation.
Is is a specific problem of this package or is there no german
translation at all?
In this case I would like to translate the whole program. How can I
do this? :)
Quite simply because nobody has written one. I started one, but my German was
so bad that it annoyed German users and we ended up removing it.
The translation of PSPP is now handled by the translation project. See
http://translationproject.org/domain/pspp.html - if you want to contribute a
translation, you can discover how to set about it
at http://translationproject.org/html/translators.html
I look forward to having a decent German translation!
