Honestly it is strange that the code is GPL. How come a code can be GPL and 
impose restrictions such those
I found on Compressor.cc

* 1. Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright
 *    notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer.
 * 2. Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright
 *    notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the
 *    documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.
 
"This code is released under the GNU Public Licence" is enough, mandatory and 
safer for
our project.

it is sad , I know, but since we plan to make protux a GNU project some day we
need to let all copyrights to FSF :-(

Anyway, maybe we should detach the code until we are sure it is really GPL ..
