I'd propose building such a system in there - the ability to compile 
without '#include <iostream>' would allow easier porting to WinCE as I 
recently mentioned.

Currently, you'd need to track every 'cerr' and 'cout' line to do that. 
:)    They aren't that many, though.

A compile time switch to cause output to named files (or nul) might be 
enough?
