Well, I see your user agent is PAN, so presumably U R using the gmane
mail2news server (as I am). The mailing list itself isn't instantaneous
posting, but it wasn't to bad, when I was using it. However, gmane takes
some time to process messages as well, it seems, at least doubling the
median time to post, from my observations when I was using both. With the
mailing list, I could usually get my posts back within an hour or two,
high end of normal.. With gmane, it seems closer to a day, sometimes two.
However, if you take that two hours for the gnome lists, and add the same
delay for the gmane-to-list step, then add it again for the list-to-gmane
step, U R already looking at 6 hours..
