Sorry, I missunderstood you.
I start pan...
1) Having done nothing yet I notice that the Header Pane Column Layout
is not as I prefer...
2) I go to Edit -> Preferences -> Change the Column Layout to my
settings. (move author up two slots) I hit apply, then OK.
3) And then I close pan, and all the subsribed groups are gone
