[Pan-users] Disabling the new-message feature-- choosing unread color.

Hello.



Personally, I don't like the new-message feature (i.e. the fact that
new messages are shown in bold face).

(In case you wonder why, here it is: For my style of use of Pan, there
is never a time where I want to make a distinction between new and old
unread messages.  The fact that one is new and the other one is old
does not help me in anything: they are both to be read, I don't want
to discriminate).

Moreover, I find that feature disturbing: for some reason, if I see
some bold messages, I just cannot pay attention to non-bold ones. So I
often overlook some unread old message which could be useful.

Now I don't expect you to agree with me, but I am siply asking for an
option to disable the new feature, i.e. to make new messages appear
like old messages. With old versions of pan it was possible, now it
isn't.

Also, I would like to choose the color for unread messages. I like
them to stick against read ones. This is because I useful skim over
the messages trying to focus on unread messages only.
