Your compiler is older. The compiler I'm using is gcc 4.0.1 with gfortran.
This is the version on the FC4 mirrors. E.g., http://mirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/4/i386/ Thanks for trying. - Paul
