Follow-up Comment #6, bug #53890 (project octave): The problem was introduced in changeset 25356:1008b4797a6e "fix visibility of dock widgets at startup" Right after startup of the gui the terminal receives all keys except Ctrl-C. Clicking inside the terminal does not help. But if I click into the editor once and and back into the terminal everything starts to work fine. Somehow the terminal widget is not in "full focus" at startup, it needs to loose and regain focus to receive Ctrl-C. Probably it hits me because I have the window manager configured to the rarely used "focus follows mouse" and "do not bring window to front on click" behaviour. So the window manger will not generate "make window topmost" events automatically when a window gets the focus. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?53890> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
