Follow-up Comment #10, bug #47094 (project octave): I installed 4.0.1-rc3. I think I will stick with this install for now, the io package plus more shows up with 'pkg list'. I forgot to mention that I tried reinstalling 4.0.0 without success. I could still try installing an image or tsa.. I am curious why some of these packages are not included with the install of octave 4.0.0? Or is this the direction the software is headed(with regards to 4.0.3-rc3)?
