Follow-up Comment #19, bug #45951 (project octave): @Philip: I tried to run the demos without adding .jar files to the path and got the expected error message "xmlread: no xercesImpl.jar and/or xml-apis.jar > v2.11.0 in javaclasspath". Then I added the required .jar files to the javapath and tried again. This time I get "xmlread: required Java support (-files) lacking" because the function doesn't check the path again. Do we really need this construct with a numeric undocumented argument to reset the "java_ok" variable? What about simply leaving "java_ok" empty and checking again? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?45951> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
