Fedora puts the main commands in /usr/bin/. And as Joel
noted, the ancilliary commands in /usr/libexec/.

Agreed.
Just to note that I didn't find any conflicts for ap or dp
on Fedora, though my check was not exhaustive (just the Fedora
and rpmfusion repos).
