With all due respect, this has little to do with "debian" as it's not
strictly a Debian policy related bug.

The bug report is basically a user saying he wishes he could undo an
account installation (possibly after installing it just to try it). It
could have come from a user from any OS or distribution, and "debian"
has not judged the importance or severity of this bug in any way, other
than the nmh package maintainer doing his best to address it.

Now if you simply object to the debian package maintainer contributing a
patch, or soliciting freedback about a patch, then that's another story.
