Perfect, thanks! Let's see when it will hit den official portage tree. I 
downloaded the ebuild file and will test it here during the next days. 
But previously I'll have to read all the Changelogs, the network here 
still is on 0.39. Which makes me wonder, but ...

Two questions:
- Why did you mark it unstable?
- Who is currently maintaining the Monotone ebuilds on Gentoo and should 
we perhaps do this ourselves?

It's unfortunately quite common in Gentoo that packages with a smaller 
user group have a very long delay between their updates and often lack a 
few versions.
