I'd like to hear what the general feeling is. On the wiki page, there 
are now three people (including myself) who plan to fly over the 
Atlantic, those need USD 400 - 500 per person. One would like to have 
the hotel paid (thus ca. USD 300). All together that sums up to less 
than USD 2000. What else do we have to pay for?

If the general feeling is: hey cool, we can pay most of it, I'm going to 
book the flight ASAP. So once again: please everybody, do your math so 
we can make the necessary decisions!

More as a side note:
Is there anybody living close-by who could offer a room to sleep? Or 
what happened to that idea?
