No, that's a function I define in MT/monotonerc:
attr_functions["m4proc"] =
function(fname, arg)
local stem = string.gsub(fname, "^(.+)%.m4$", "%1")
if (stem ~= fname) then
os.execute(string.format("rm -f %s && m4 -DHOSTNAME=$HOSTNAME
-DUSER=$USER <%s >%s && chmod -w %s", stem, fname, stem, stem))
end
end
It used to work just fine -- until I updated to the latest
head.
