you can do something like that in userdefs.h :
eg i have #define TEMP_SPACE "~/tmp/" ;
sorry, i haven't checked if the others can all be placed there,
but i seem to remember .lynxcookies can be put wherever you want.

i don't believe you can set TEMP_SPACE in .lynxrc :
wouldn't that present security dangers on some systems?
