For those of us who are legally blind but not totally blind
colors are very important (although which colors are easiest to
see depends on the type of blindness.
I personally find black text on white background to be very hard to see.
which is why i need the color stuff.  (When I first started
using lynx, I couldn't read the status line and current link text because it
was in reverse video.)
High contrast is important to me -- bright text on dim or black
background is best.
