Last I checked, the tools at www.cygnus.com would compile lynx for the
console. Socks is at www.socks.nec.com (having been written by NEC) and
they have a client shared library for Windows 95, but I would compile from
the unix source for cygnus. Also, a shareware product, Wingate (start at
www.tucows.com), is supposed to support socks at the server side, but
might have protocol stacks to instantly socksify the client.
So there are three urls to start looking for the specific answers.
