I had a hack last night and got lwIP (latest CVS
sources) to compile against the EL/IX eCos template
sans net package. [For those who are interested, EL/IX
is a POSIX subset, the specification for which can be
found at http://sources.redhat.com/elix/]

I still need to modify sys_arch.c to use a replacement
for the gettimeofday() call, which is currently the
only unreolved external when linking. The mods I've
done *should* work for both the ARM and SH3 eCos
architectures.

Out of interest, roughly how much code size does the
net package add on the SH3?

Cheers,
Phil.
