Hi Stuart,

I was not able to checkout the CVS sources

address@hidden LTIB]$ cvs -d:pserver:address@hidden:/sources/ltib co ltib
cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to [cvs.sv.gnu.org]:2401 failed: Connection timed out

I m trying with  "ltib-6.2.2-sv" and have the same problem.
Reinstalled all the dependencies.  Still it is saying install/upgrade these packages.
My suspicion is 64bit packages on X86.

Installed:
  glibc-devel.x86_64 0:2.11-2           rpm-build.x86_64 0:4.7.1-6.fc12           zlib.i686 0:1.2.3-23.fc12           zlib.x86_64 0:1.2.3-23.fc12

Can you please put some light on this issue.
Thanks.

Hi Naveen,

Looking again at your earlier email I see that you're using ltib-8-1-2-sv.  There have been many changes since then (including package detection).   You need to get the latest from CVS and re-try.

Regards, Stuart

   Hi Naveen,

You need to install the missing packages (su yum install ...)

I tried that, the system says they are installed at are at their latest versions.
address@hidden ~]$ sudo yum install glibc-devel
[sudo] password for chnaveen:
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
updates/metalink                                                                                                                      | 5.8 kB     00:00    Setting up Install Process
Package glibc-devel-2.11-2.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
address@hidden ~]$ sudo yum install rpm-build
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Setting up Install Process
Package rpm-build-4.7.1-6.fc12.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
address@hidden ~]$

I have 64bit processor and 64Bit Fedora 12, Could this be a problem
Am i missing anything,

       Hi Folks,

I brought in a new 64bit PC installed with Fedora 12 64bit version.

ltib cannot be run because one or more of the host packages needed
to run it are either missing or out of date.

Please install/upgrade these packages and then re-try.

I checked both the glibc and rpm are at their latest versions
Is it a OS problem or any issue with the configuration.
What am i missing, Appreciate if someone could help me with this.
