Thank you very much for your support, I am installing Ubuntu and will come back if I meet error.

But it is very strange that, there is lack of official tutorial guide from linphone.org to, for e.g, configure and start developing linphone source code.

I mean, not every one are experts.

You may choose Ubuntu or Debian or any other distribution.
It will work fine if you install it in VMWare.

You may also develop on a mac, however you will then need to install
some packages from mac ports.
