Hi,

Linphone is looking for the plugins in the $(PREFIX)/lb/mediastreamer/plugins/ directory. In your case, it probably is looking for the plugins in the /usr/local/lib/mediastreamer/plugins. So if you move them in this directory it should be ok. But how did you install Linphone and its plugins? Did you compile them yourself?

Cheers,
Ghislain

Hello,
I have linphone, 3.5.2-40 installed on my OpenSuse 12.1 system. linphone starts and displays properly. I can make voice only phone calls. When I look under Codecs->Video, no codecs are displayed. I have a number of plugins located under /usr/local/lib65/mediastreamer/plugins:
              libmsbcg729.a   libmsbcg729.so      libmsbcg729.so.0.0.0  libmssilk.so     libmssilk.so.0.0.0  libmsx264.so    libmsx264.so.0.0.0
              libmsbcg729.la  libmsbcg729.so.0  libmssilk.la                      libmssilk.so.0  libmsx264.la          libmsx264.so.0

How do I get linphone to read the plugins? Do I need to move them to another directory?

Thank you,
  Richard
