Very nice!  Great work, David.  A minor thing: In the given link I can
see

  \tweak layout-object #'grob-property value

as the syntax line, mentioning that `layout-object' is optional.
Wouldn't it be betterto write this as

  \tweak [layout-object] #'grob-property value
