I use debian Linux and lily 2.10.6 (installed with provided installer). (but I reproduce it on windows XP too). In fact on linux, the lilypond trace says that lily use gs version 8.55 SVN pre release. And on my debian system I got an old version (8.01) of ghostscript. That's why running the gs command a second time makes it works ...
What OS do you use ? is it the same version of ghostscript and lilypond ? Is it to tell lily to use the system gs instead of the one provided in the distribution ?
Regarding the color, I don't understand your question. I try to use #(ly:set-option pixmap-format "pngmono"). Is there another way to do ? because that break ghostscript 8.55 too (but run well with gs 8.01 ...)
Thanks !
Nicolas
