gcc version 8.2.1 20181215 (Red Hat 8.2.1-6) (GCC)
I did "git diff --word-diff --no-index" to compare our configurations;
at first glance I didn't see anything meaningful w.r.t that warning,
which is not surprising given my newbie level in C/C++.
I also attached the output of "gcc -dumpspecs".
