"User-Agent: No Gnus v0.6" is not valid. I'd suggest to
(setq gnus-user-agent '(gnus))
which would result in...
| User-Agent: Gnus/5.110006 (No Gnus v0.6)

Your regexp matches every group that contains at least one of the
characters , a d g i l m n r u: "[nnmaildir,gnu].*" = "[,adgilmnru].*".
