Yeah, well not everyone gives good advice, even professionally published
authors. :-)
"cvs import" should really never be used for anything but third-party
code that's going to be managed on a CVS-style magic vendor branch.
(though it is relatively easy to remove all traces of the vendor branch
if it's done soon enough....)
