It works well with R 2.6.2 as well.

I've no idea what went wrong here. You'll really need to 
send us a complete example that goes wrong. Please only keep 
as much of your code, that is enough to reproduce the error,
e.g. don't send all the graphs. Something might be wrong with
that graph object.
