Maybe this will work:
@tex
\globaldefs = 1
\frenchspacing
@end tex
My goal is for the copyright information to appear in the printed
manual, html manual, and info manual exactly once. (If this goal is
wrong, let me know.)
A logical goal, but I'm not sure if it's the thing to aim for :).
For Info, the copyright appears in the files themselves (although not
visible to people just reading the manual in the normal way) if you
follow the Texinfo suggestions. I guess this is ok, it's been that way
forever.
For HTML, the copyright info currently doesn't appear in the file
anywhere! Oops. I'll have to work on that, it's not immediately
obvious to me what to do.
