I just found out that along with an app_server and a net_server, BeOS 
has a "media_server". :-)

Mostly just funny, but maybe another reason to change the name. Does 
someone have an idea?

(ibid used 'storm' for 'storage module' sometime-- how's that as a name 
for mediaserver as a whole? Just one idea.)
