[gpsd-users] Issue with gpsd start

Hi,

We are using  MAX-7Q series of GPS/GNSS receiver from u-blox in our Embedded IVI System.

We use I2C interface of MAX – 7Q to collect NMEA sentences from the GPS/GNSS receiver.

We have written an I2C driver. With the help of a sample test application we verified that our custom I2C driver is collecting the NMEA Sentences from the device.

Now, We are trying to integrate our I2C driver with gpsd.  When I start gpsd (sudo gpsd -D 5 -N -n /dev/Max_7), gpsd  hangs after the line

“gpsd:INFO: startup at 2014-06-18T06:25:45.000Z (1403072745)”.

Can  get we any inputs in integrating our custom I2C driver with gpsd?

Thanks,

Deepa
