The branding is not an issue for free distros, but something we have to 
take into account because of the non-free plugins problem.

For gNewSense we grab the debs directly from GNUzilla, so we don't 
compile it ourselves. For Thunderbird we just make a small configuration 
change. The LibrePlanet page references the gNewSense bug report [1] 
which has some more info.
