[Gnu-arch-users] Re: View arch crash in gencache.py

How about

    $ tla cacherev address@hidden/ViewARCH--gary--0.0.8--base-0

before executing "gencache.py" ?

BTW, now we can use ViewARCH specific Mailing list.

Could you visit

  http://arch.bluegate.org/mailman/listinfo/viewarch

and subscribe it ? :)

By nature, ViewARCH depends on tla via unix pipeline,
and fairly vulnerable yet. Robustness is very high
priority in my plan. (It includes rich English documentation,
too).

Hi Tez,

I am trying to make a local branch of your ViewARCH archive to fold in my
changes. I think the problem is that I haven't figured out how to stop arch
from tracking all the way back through your cycled archives.

Anyhow this is what I get:

~ $ tla archive-setup ViewARCH--gary--0.0.8
~ * creating category address@hidden/ViewARCH
~ * creating branch address@hidden/ViewARCH--gary
~ * creating version address@hidden/ViewARCH--gary--0.0.8
~ $ tla tag address@hidden/ViewARCH--devo--0.0.8--patch-15
~ - ViewARCH--gary--0.0.8

~ You need a passphrase to unlock the secret key for
~ user: "Gary V. Vaughan <address@hidden>"
~ 1024-bit DSA key, ID 2983D606, created 2003-11-12

~ * Archive caching revision
~ gpg: Signature made Tue Mar 2 17:28:00 2004 GMT using DSA key ID 2983D606
~ gpg: Good signature from "Gary V. Vaughan <address@hidden>"
~ archive not registered: address@hidden
~ (see register-archive)

Hmmm. Problem 1. I don't really care about old archives, I just want to hang
my branch off 2004s :-(

~ $ sudo python /Library/WebServer/Data/ViewARCH/lib/gencache.py -x
~ Password:

I'm completely stuck now :-(

Cheers,
        Gary.
