Sorry for the late reply,

Wavecom GSM modems will work on a COM/Serial port - and therefore, will work 
with ANY distribution of Linux at all. 

Will most likely work with most versions of windows too ;-)

You should be able to find a local supplier from their web page (as stated in 
mail from Madars (http://www.wavecom.com/modules/movie/scenes/locator/).
However, I found a local importer that is not on this list, who can get the 
units a lot cheaper than buying them from Wavecom directly. So check your 
regular suppliers and ask them if they can get their hands on Wavecom Kit.
