Thank you for your reply.  I believe the N95 runs Symbion 3rd edition. 
I can't get to the gnokii web site today; traceroute stops at a router 
in San Jose, California for some reason.  I recall reading something 
about a change in communication protocol between 2nd and 3rd edition 
(please correct me if I'm wrong).  I tried running gnapplet.sis on the 
N95 and the phone would not start it up.  Does gnapplet need to be 
recompiled/updated for the N95 Symbion OS?
