So, I've got a Nokia 6233 "Music Edition". I don't have my bluetooth
dongle on me, so I had to revert to good old IrDA. I just want to point
out, that I "think" this phone has worked on bluetooth previously, but
it's been a while since I tried, so I'm not 100%.

I set gnokii to use IrDA, set the max baud rate of the irda port to
115200, and away I go. Gnokii can identify the phone ok, but when I
open xgnokii and click on "SMS", I started getting unhandled frame
exceptions.

The debug output is attached, and I'll test with my bluetooth when I get
home (~7-8 hours from now) to see how that works.

For what it's worth, I'm running GNOKII Version 0.6.17 compiled with gcc
v4.1.2 on a gentoo install on an IBM R51 thinkpad, with the nsc-ircc driver.
