Although I continue to get, although I later continued until the letter  m.
Couldn't find device [wd0]
Couldn't find device [wd0a]
Couldn't find device [wd0b]
Couldn't find device [wd0c]

and the pmon devls command gives:
Device name             Type
rt10                    IFNET
wd0                     DISK
usb0                    DISK

When I installed gNewSense on Lemote yeeloong I choose for simplicity
reasons to use the whole drive, so I think it formatted it all, to
create only one partition only for gNewSense.

Maybe it's a bug in your PMON version. Try upgrading it: http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Projects/Lemote#toc225
