Follow-up Comment #2:
Redefining LDFLAGS will likely cause problems. I build Gnash on x86_64 Ubuntu
platforms with no problem, so I'm more interested in what couldn't be found by
configure. By default, configure lools in the 64bit directories before any
others. The reason for excluding /usr/lib* is to enable cross-compiling.
