I forgot to mention that you have to execute "docker build ." from
inside the gnome commander repository to run the docker image:

git clone https://github.com/gcmd/gnome-commander.git
cd gnome-commander
git checkout -b GSettings origin/GSettings
docker build .

PS: I switched back to mutt email client today, as evolution sends my
    mail without the mail body...
