Hi,
some further information, tested on linux, using lsof.
Files are added with drag-n-drop from gworkspace
1) drag a single mp3 file: descriptor leaked
2) drag a group of mp3 files: first file in the load is leaked
3) drag a folder: first file is leaked!
4) drag a jpg file: descriptor leaked
5) drag a gdr file (graphos drawing, unsupported for sure): descriptor
leaked
thus it is has not to do with the filetype and it is always the first of
the lot
