[Freetype] Installing with ImageMagick

Hi, 
i'm trying to install ImageMagick on a Linux Redhat
6.2 box with kernel 2.4.5

The problem is i'm not Root so the default config
don't work (becouse i can't write files on /usr/bin),
i can compile ImageMagick and FreeType 2.0.2 on other
directories but when i configure Imagemagick it
compiles without FreeType Support.

Can you helpme?
Is the --prefix parameter the solution for my
problem??
I'll appreciate an example.
