If you need TrueType to TrueType font subsetting, check:
http://gsl.openoffice.org/source/browse/gsl/psprint/source/fontsubset/
The source code is available under LGPL 2.1 or SISL 1.1 and it should
be easy to build standalone, without the rest of OpenOffice code.
